Tim Ranney is a licensed clinician who has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings while specialized in working with high-risk populations utilizing an eclectic approach with a trauma informed lens. He helped developed and grow the adolescent DBT program at Jefferson Center for Mental Health and spent the last 6 years providing crisis intervention for employers and their employees while helping them understand the importance of mental health, the system and get connected with the appropriate services.
He is a native Coloradan (who has never put on a pair of skis or a board, much to my partner’s dismay) and have my graduate degree from the University of Denver. He is passionate about providing the best possible treatment to clients and feel strongly that this only occurs when therapists are well-supported. Outside of work, he enjoys playing racquetball, golfing (poorly) on the weekends, traveling, trying to make new flavors of gelato (if you have ideas, please share) and camping with my family.
