VP of Facilities and Real Estate Development

Kathleen Reeves brings over 30 years of healthcare experience, ranging from the direct delivery of patient care as a clinician to the provision of administrative oversight in various director and executive-level positions. She oversees all real estate development projects, including building design, budget oversight and project completion, across the country; developing healing spaces for the treatment of Eating Disorders and Mood & Anxiety Disorders. Projects include all levels of care ranging from Inpatient Hospitalization to Outpatient spaces. In addition, Kathleen is the executive sponsor for the Eating Recovery Foundation and the National Culture Committee. In her prior ERC role, she was tasked with operational strategy development, planning and execution for Eating Recovery Center’s Denver-based facilities, including center development and expansion, Joint Commission readiness for life safety and environment of care, patient housing, transportation, pharmacy, housekeeping and food service. She has provided leadership and direct supervision to numerous manager and director-level positions to ensure compliance and excellence in this wide range of operational divisions in the behavioral healthcare space.

Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, Kathleen served as Director of Family Services at Children’s Hospital Colorado, overseeing numerous support departments, including the Youth and Family Centered Care Councils. She also held a decade-long tenure in administrative operations roles at the Colorado Division of Columbia/HCA. As Director of Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs and the Eating Treatment Center, Kathleen was directly responsible for administration of all assigned clinical programs. Having held positions as a counselor and a leader in eating disorders treatment, in addition to her roles in hospital and university settings, Kathleen has been provided with valuable perspective and insight for her subsequent healthcare administration and management roles.

Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology as well as a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Illinois State University, and actively maintains her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials.
