Jennifer Moran, PsyD
Dr. Jennifer Moran is a licensed clinical psychologist serving adolescents, adults and families in the outpatient department at Eating Recovery Center Maryland. Dr. Moran earned her doctorate from the University of Denver in 2003 and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Suffolk University Counseling Center. Dr. Moran has dedicated her career to working within the field of eating disorders and worked with the team at Center for Eating Disorders since 2005 before joining Eating Recovery Center Maryland. She operates within an integrative approach, with a special focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based strategies. Dr. Moran served as a family therapist in conjunction with The Center's NIMH-funded research study on effective therapies for adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa and is certified as a Family Behavioral Therapist through the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. She has also worked in several University Counseling Centers and continues to pursue her passion for working with campuses and students by serving as a college liaison for ERC. Dr. Moran is available to facilitate trainings, networking opportunities, groups and other mental health programming for college students. She also offers trainings, referral assistance and consultation to professionals at area colleges and university counseling centers.
