Alex Harrison, LCSW

Alex Harrison, LCSW

Alumni and Family Liaison, East/Mountain

A clinician at heart, Alex believes that recovery happens wherever there is authentic community. As a therapist at ERC's adult treatment center in Denver, she specialized in direct care to patients across IP/RES and PHP programs for eight years before moving into her current role as an Alumni and Family Liaison. Her experience working closely with both patients and their families instilled in Alex the strong belief that honest recovery is both incredibly hard, and incredibly worth it. She loves to connect with both alumni and families through storytelling, vulnerability, and humor, and is energized by connecting the community to resources and support.

When out of the office, you can find Alex at home with her husband and their four children, often gathering friends around a big Sunday dinner table. She also finds her creative outlet singing and playing cello with a country-folk band and plays gigs all along Colorado's Front Range.
