Intensive Outpatient Program for Mood and Anxiety Disorders
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center empowers patients to take ownership of their recovery and become active participants in their lives. Our Intensive Outpatient program is a flexible treatment program that allows patients to work, go to school, or care for children during the day and sleep at home at night.

Intensive Outpatient Progamming
In IOP, patients are in treatment up to four days per week for up to 9 hours per week. Programming includes individual therapy, family therapy, group sessions and more.
Experienced professionals employ a number of therapeutic interventions in IOP, including:
- Family-Centered Treatment
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT)
The program also incorporates core recovery principles, values, mindfulness, and connectedness.
The IOP can serve as a step-down level of care, helping to foster a positive transition into activities of daily living for adults upon discharging from our Residential or Partial Hospitalization programs. IOP can also be leveraged as a direct-admit level of care for adult patients requiring a higher level of care from an outpatient setting — allowing them to remain engaged with their lives.
