Throughout the pandemic there has been an increase in treatment seeking for depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. Because primary care providers are often the first point of contact for mental health care, many providers are having to meet an increased demand for psychiatric services. This presentation will address the growing need for mental health service in primary care and what primary care providers need to know to help navigate the increased demand.
