Martha Stanojevich

I am a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest by way of Tennessee, and I have enjoyed learning all about Seattle! I especially enjoy the beautiful mountains the lakes that are here. I received a Master of Science degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and spent time working in residential levels of care as well as community mental health. When I moved back to my hometown in Tennessee, I became a therapist in higher levels of care for eating disorders, and this has been my focus since that time. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings and levels of care with children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy assisting clients to reach their goals when they are in need of extra support. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, and principles of FBT when treating eating disorder patients. I also received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as training in EMDR. I have experience working with all eating disorder diagnoses across the age spectrum, as well as experience with complex eating disorder cases, such as eating disorders and diabetes, as well as pregnancy and eating disorders. When I’m not in my role as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three daughters, being outside as much as possible when the weather is nice and traveling to new places.
