This four-course virtual education series will give you the information and tools you need to support your loved one in their recovery. This course provides an overview of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, the foundation of all involvement, education and support for families and friends. As families and support systems play a critical role in their loved ones’ treatment – and are an integral part of the recovery process – our Advanced Caregiver Skills will help you further support your loved one's healing.
This course will review psychiatric approaches to mood and anxiety disorders, inclusive of brain development, treatment strategies and supportive practices. Led by nationally renowned psychiatrists with extensive experience in neuropsychiatric treatments and psychotropic medications, attendees will learn optimal practices for treatment approaches and how to best support loved ones.
This course will give an overview of anxiety disorders, inclusive of signs and symptoms, treatment strategies and supportive practices. Presenters will discuss specific disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and the evidence-based modalities used to treat loved ones.
