Student-athletes are under pressure to achieve athletic and academic success while managing the day to day stressors of being a young adult. In order to provide proper support and guidance, professionals working with this population should be aware of these challenges. Identifying and helping at-risk individuals within the student athlete population will be highlighted during this continuing education event. Skills to help to challenge unhelpful messaging within the athletic community will be provided for professionals to apply with their student-athletes. Attendees will leave with tools and best practices to help pave the way to mental wellness for student athletes.
