This presentation will review the core tenets of acceptance and commitment therapy and discuss how each can be applied during ED and MH treatment. Presenters will use case examples to demonstrate skills and tools shown to be effective in treating eating mood and anxiety disorders.

Available Continuing Education Credit

In support of improving patient care, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 clinical continuing education credits.

Eating Recovery Center, LLC is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR credentialed practitioners will receive 1.5 continuing professional education units (CPEU) for completion of this activity.
