Join us for the launch of Say It Brave on Campus with an unforgettable event in honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Featuring a student panel with mental health advocates and experts from Only7Seconds, Black Mental Wellness, Morgan's Message and Robbie's Hope, this event will educate and create awareness about the link between loneliness and suicidality, and provide practical strategies for prevention. The student panel discussion will be moderated by ERC Pathlight Clinical Director Landry Yarborough, LPC, CEDS, NCC.

The presentation will:

  • Discuss the impact of loneliness on student mental health, and the critical importance of connection for depression and anxiety

  • Explore ways in which connection-related interventions can help self-compassion

  • Share personal stories and experiences, and

  • Offer community-based solutions and resources.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in open discussions and Q&A sessions with knowledgeable speakers and panelists and will leave with practical tools for prevention and a renewed commitment to actively address loneliness and its consequences in their own lives and communities.
