Rachel Doyle, M. Ed.
Community Outreach Liaison
Biography
Rachel (she/her) has been involved in community building and organizing for the past 10 years. Rachel first came to the work through education, earning a master's in Education with a focus on adult learners and literacy. She learned that in order for anyone to learn, the work needs to be meaningful and relevant and the learner needs to feel seen and empowered. Rachel used these lessons both as a public school teacher and later as a volunteer for adult learners who had experienced displacement, incarceration, and other tough life situations. In 2020, Rachel pivoted to mental health, serving as the Education Specialist at both Pathlight and Eating Recovery Center, working with adolescents in PHP and Residential levels of care. Rachel prioritized having a strong after-care plan in place, knowing how essential structure is for lasting recovery.
In her new role, Rachel plans to help alumni and families connect to the resources they need in order to build lives worth living. Rachel feels strongly that healing and growth occur best in the context of a strong community and that all people, regardless of which identities they hold, deserve personalized care. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys building community, reading, cooking, and spending time with her twins and husband.
