Serving as a mood and anxiety Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient program for adolescents and children, ages 8 through 17, Pathlight Spruce in Denver functions as the step down center from the Pathlight Birch Residential and Inpatient center just across the street.

Founded by a team of compassionate experts whose goal is to fuse evidence-based findings and innovation to create a comprehensive center of healing for mood and anxiety disorder care, this center provides a large, expressive arts space for yoga and expressive art therapy.

Housed in a  state-of-the art facility, this is another one of our special “patient-picked” centers. Everything from the hanging art to the color of paint on the walls was voted and chosen on from current and former patients to better provide a calming atmosphere. For spaces that are hardest for patients, such as bathroom and dining spaces, we renovated to provide quieter flooring in the hallways and noise-reducers in dining rooms, as well as outdoor-themed and sensory-nurturing natural lighting in the bathrooms. This center is also equipped with a full dining room, culinary kitchen, classroom and two full-time education specialists.

Designed for 15-25 patients at a time, patients, once behaviorally appropriate, can go between the Birch and Spruce location which allows them fruitful outdoor time to play and relax.
