On-Demand Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center Sessions for Mental Health

On-Demand Mental Health Session 1: Patient Acuity and Clinician Burnout with Ileana Calinoiu, MD and Albert Tsai, MD

Over the past two years, much attention has been brought to the topic of burnout in health care providers. Recognizing that the solution to burnout goes far beyond “self-care,” Dr. Al Tsai and Dr. Ileana Calinoiu will discuss factors such as client caseload and patient acuity that contribute to the development of burnout in mental health providers. Identify solutions to combat burnout and find support in treating patients and clients.

On-Demand Mental Health Session 2: Ketamine Treatment for Refractory Mental Health Diagnoses: The Role of the RN with Ellen Kenik, BSN, RN and Amy Richards, BSN, RN

Recent research has supported the assertion that ketamine can be used to effectively treat treatment-resistant and refractory mental health conditions. Ketamine is typically administered by a physician in a medically supervised environment. Understand the role that nurses play in ketamine treatment of mental health disorders.

On-Demand Mental Health Session 3: Skills from RO-DBT: Putting It Into Practice with Ellen Astrachan-Fletcher, PhD, FAED, CEDS-S

In this presentation, Dr. Astrachan-Fletcher will discuss Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills and tools as they relate to specific symptom profiles. Learn how and when to implement skills to best treat your patients based on patient bio temperaments and presenting concerns. On-Demand Mental Health Session 4: Substance Use and Behavioral Addictions in Mental Health with Kelly Souza, PsyD, CEDS and Leah Young, LCPC

Substance-related and addictive disorders (SRADs) are often comorbid with other mental health diagnoses and trauma experiences. Treatment of SRADs in patients and clients with complex comorbidities can be extremely challenging. Gain skills and tools to address SRADs with comorbidities to inform clinical decision making and treatment planning.

On-Demand Mental Health Session 5: Treating Comorbid OCD and Mood and Anxiety Disorders with Kim Anderson, PhD, CEDS and Liza Feilner, MA, LPC

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is often comorbid with other mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety disorders. Obtain practical skills and clinical tools that you can use to effectively treat OCD in your practice while attending to comorbid clinical presentations.
