Join us in Bellevue, Washington for Learn from the Leaders, an in-person education and networking event.  ERC Pathlight thought leaders, Dr. Anne Marie O'Melia, Dr. Ellen Astrachan-Fletcher, Dr. Ovidio Bermudez, Dr. Megan Riddle and others, will discuss state of the science and data-informed care for mood, anxiety, and eating disorders. The event will include 7.5 CE/CME/CNE credits, food and beverage, and ample opportunity to network with leading clinicians from your area. A portion of the proceeds for this event will go to the ERC Pathlight foundation to provide financial assistance to cover out of pocket treatment costs for qualified patients needing a higher level of care for eating mood and anxiety disorders.

Medical Updates on Ketamine and TMS Brain-Based Treatment with Anne Marie O’Melia, MS, MD, FAAP, CEDS-S , Megan Riddle, MD, PhD, and Amy Richards, RN, BSN

Explore the latest research on brain-based treatments, including ketamine therapy and its applications in eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Ethical challenges in current care environments, such as tube feeds and involuntary treatment, will also be discussed.

Dr. Astrachan-Fletcher will delve into working with overcontrolled patients, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Controversies surrounding the use of RODBT in these individuals will be addressed from both provider and patient perspectives, emphasizing the integration of trauma-informed care into practice.

Explore the spectrum of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and it’s subtypes. Discover how Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD, can be effectively applied in practice across multiple levels of care. Through a compelling case presentation, Rayna and Matt will showcase how ERC techniques can effectively address OCD symptoms across multiple subtypes.

Optimizing Outcomes: Treating the Whole Family with Martha Stanojevich, LICSW and Natalie Goodwin, PhD

Explore Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), focusing on their core tenets. Dr. Goodwin and Martha Stanojevich, LICSW will present a case study illustrating the application of these theoretical approaches to engage the entire family in combating mental illness together.

Gain insight into trauma-informed care principles and their practical application. A case presentation will demonstrate the implementation of trauma-informed practices to address mental health concerns in severely affected individuals and their families.

Delve into Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), examining its various presentations and subtypes. The session will highlight how treatment strategies may differ based on presentation, with a case study illustrating a collaborative team approach to ARFID treatment in individuals with neurodiverse brains.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 7.5 clinical continuing education credits.

Eating Recovery Center, LLC is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR credentialed practitioners will receive 7.5 continuing professional education units (CPEU) for completion of this activity.
